“Arctic Frost,” Another FBI Spying Operation

On January 20th, 2025, I was riding high on the hope that President Trump would destroy the deep state to a point where reconstitution would be impossible. We are nine months into DJT’s 2nd administration, and when I think we’ve beaten them down, up pops another deep state spy operation, this one called “Arctic Frost.”

The weaponized FBI under Director Wray and the complicit Attorney General’s DOJ ran an operation under the cover of special counsel Jack Smith. This alleged plot involved the FBI subpoenaing the phone records of eight sitting U.S. senators’ telephone calls. Of course, this will require an investigation, and of course, the criminal acts of the deep state actors will not be prosecuted, and if they are, they’ll serve no time.

Those of us who knew all along about the deep state shenanigans and the weaponization of the DOJ under Attorney General Merrick Garland will find no joy in watching these miscreants evade justice. It is more of the same everywhere I turn. Republicans have a long history of smoking out rats, but not one appears willing to stomp on one. Republicans have no spine, and Democrat prosecutors, leftist activist judges, and Democrat juries will set them free.

Furthermore, the fake news media haven’t made a peep about this, and it can be no surprise to anyone that the Democrat base will not have a memory of this come the next election. Even if they did, they’d reward the fools by re-electing them, like Adam Schiff. He got a promotion from California voters for pushing the Russia Gate Hoax for four years, lying to Congress and the American people, wasting forty million dollars, and allegedly committing mortgage fraud.

Which brings me to another point. In a post I wrote this morning on rhetoric, there should be serious consequences for lying to Congress. The fact is, members on both sides are prone to exaggeration, which I think is fine, but when the exaggerated subject becomes lies or talking points in media soundbites and newscasts. There should be serious action taken to weed them out.

Members of government are allowed to lie because there is no one holding them accountable. The second-highest deliberative body in the nation, the US Congress, should police the lies and prosecute the offenders. Blumenthal lied about his war service, and Pocahontas lied to gain favorable college admission status and financial help. Adam Schiff attempted to impeach a sitting US president using his position on the Intelligence Committee to create bogus intelligence that only he was privy to.

Congressional elections are a joke. These are not the brightest bricks in the pile, and some are so old they’d crumble if cornered. The Democratic Party is like the big bad wolf in the children’s story. They huff and puff, get all red in the face, curl their lips and shake their head from side to side, grimacing and bellyaching and whining while on camera, and laugh like hell when the camera’s turned off. Their number one tactic is fearmongering about “democracy is under attack” and “the world’s coming to an end in less than twelve years”—climate change.

I entirely understand why all previous democratic governments have failed. Fortunately, I am among the people remaining who pray we can keep our republic. It seems on wobbly legs, even as President Trump attempts to turn the ship around.

When I was young, still in elementary school, I learned that we had the best form of government ever conceived by man. I believed all of that, and I was also taught that citizens should vote not by party lines. They should vote their conscience for the best person for the job.

The voters should select the most capable individual for the job. No office up for vote by the general population should win based on looks and personality. One election that proves my position is that of Barack Obama. He provided no birth certificate or school records, was a community organizer, and was elected to the Illinois State Senate. He voted present 130 times and never took a principled stand on anything. In fact, he had no record on which to base his candidacy, and people elected him anyway.

See how that works. Smooth-talking Black man, no record or credible history, runs and wins the US presidency based on hope and change. Really? Is that all it takes?

To my recollection, race relations were much better before Obama and have gone in the crapper ever since. I believe politics was never this divided until he came along.

It’s time to make our representatives accountable for their lies. We are the United States of America. Our governing institutions should be much better than they are, and it’s up to us to hold them accountable.

Like so many others before me and even in the current day. Nothing will change. Principled words have no meaning for the proletariat. The apparatchiks will lead the lambs to slaughter, and the sheep will go willingly.
