Kingship

Kingship is the office charged with ordering a community’s life toward the common good through responsibility, not domination. It is governance as stewardship: the work of setting direction, allocating authority, and enforcing boundaries so that a people can flourish without drifting into chaos or faction. True Kingship is measured not by power but by the capacity to bear consequences on behalf of others—holding the center, absorbing disorder, and ensuring that justice, provision, and protection remain structurally intact. When Kingship fails, governance collapses into either tyranny or managerial drift, leaving a society unable to coordinate its own survival.
