Certain matters are not intended for human observation. It is difficult to prevent these days because moral and journalistic standards are so poor. I have to face it and understand that with live coverage and instantaneous international broadcasting, these events are bound to happen. Video of the Charlie Kirk assassination is an example of things I’d rather not see.
To make matters worse. I never expected a man of such religious conviction to be assassinated or that so many people would be excited and jubilant over this. Their celebrations provide an inhuman backdrop that is now front and center under conservative backlash and are now a reason to revolt against these creeps. The Democratic Party is now infamous for its inhuman glee.
Political assassinations are a tool of the left, as is hatred of conservative MAGA devotees. In my view, this hatred goes way back to John F. Kennedy. The mainstream media coverage of Charley Kirk’s assassination proves the media have no scruples whatsoever. By inference and outright speech, itself, broadcasting that Charlie Kirk brought this all on himself by the spread of hate speech shows the depth of their depravity.
What hate speech? Are conservative facts, biblical teachings, history, and simply debating students at colleges now a license to assassinate people? At places of higher education, I’d expect difficult subjects to be openly debated without the need to shoot somebody. Then again, colleges now limit free speech. They are bastions of leftist sympathies and indoctrination. There is no debate in totalitarian organizations, and all public funding for leftist universities should be eliminated from the federal budget. Not for simply being left-leaning, but for allowing antisemitism, banning free speech, and being intolerant of conservative speech.
There is a wider breakdown of communication in America and around the world with the political left. Openly encouraging hate and resorting to violence is the trademark of the left’s members of Congress, the Senate, and activist sympathizers. Gone are the days of simply protesting. Today’s protestors and activists see violence as their new norm. They cannot communicate without making open threats.
Furthermore, they’ve become totally indifferent to the crimes they commit. Breaking windows and looting are now part of the activist playbook. So are burning police cars, throwing bricks, rocks, and Molotov cocktails at uniformed officers, attacking police stations, blocking freeways, and dragging citizens from their vehicles and beating them for the huge mistake of simply turning into an occupied intersection.
I believe in the US Constitution, where free speech is enshrined as the 1st Amendment. Our founders viewed free speech so fundamentally that they enshrined it not in the 3rd Amendment, not the 5th, but the 1st Amendment to our US Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
I think that, along with free speech, comes responsibility. I believe that when your news organization encourages hate and spreads demonizing propaganda aimed at one political class or party and aggrandizes the left, you should be held accountable when the inevitable occurs.
You know, the Democratic Party has always had a thing for violence. It was Southern Democrats who fomented the US Civil War. After the US Civil War, southern war veterans founded the KKK in 1865. It was the militant, terroristic arm of the Democratic Party, spreading hate and terrorizing Black people, Catholics, Republicans, and other northern sympathizers.
They spread terror by burning crosses in their enemies’ yards and assaulting individuals and families. They wore sheets over their heads to disguise themselves and terrorize others further into silence. Furthermore, they burned their houses and barns and even murdered people.
The major difference between the KKK and today’s rioters and leftist terrorists is the absence of the sheets, but masks and fire remain tools of their trade. What’s worse is that Democrat politicians encourage the hate by speaking out of both sides of their faces.
“You will reap the whirlwind.” “If you see them in restaurants, you must get in their face.” —By the way, we condemn violence.
As I said before. Free speech comes with responsibility. You can’t yell “Fire” in a crowded theater. You should not broadcast or publish calls to arms, fight, or get in their faces. These do not serve the public interest and only encourage the weak minds among us to act in violent extremist ways. Famously, as recently as this week. Nancy Pelosi stated that Democrats cannot be responsible for how people react to their rhetoric. Joe Biden has said on more than one occasion that he’d take Donald Trump behind the barn and punch him in the face. Who else sees that as complete freedom to punch or beat conservatives?
Another subject entirely could be the moral decay of the liberal base. Liberalism was once a centrist position and could be found in all parties of a working government. The parties have drifted so far apart. The left wing, the Squad, the loony wing of the Democratic Party, is now in control. The last centrist, Joe Manchin, has retired.
Something has got to change. My suggestion is that the media be held to account for the damage caused in monetary and human suffering in acts like Charlie Kirk’s assassination. If any links to his death are proven, they should be sued into oblivion and their license repealed forever.
Similarly, if news organizations defame a victim of leftist terror, they should be sued into oblivion. Those are my thoughts. I am not advocating or calling anyone to action. I am simply hoping to illuminate what I see as a much-needed remedy to the spread of extremist propaganda by media whose only interest in spreading their leftist bilge is profit.
Let’s take those profits to support the families of victims they so readily defame.
